Journey
through a Petrified Sand Dune and enjoy its splendor. Feel
the natural exhilarating coolness of the air. See the soft
ethereal waves, curls, and arches that have been created for
your delight and imagination. As sunbeams dance on the
billions of quartz crystals impregnated in the sandstone,
you will experience unbelievable displays of color. There
are no words or pictures that can describe the unusual
lighting effects, textures, patterns and contours that will
thrill your soul. This must be experienced.
As of March 1st
2003 there are new regulations from the Navajo Parks &
Recreation Department restricting photographers to 2 hours in
the canyon and all visitors must be accompanied by a guide at
all times. We will be taking photographers out at 10:00 a.m.
You will arrive at the canyon at @ 10:20 a.m. and stay there
until @ 12:20 p.m
We go in any weather, wet or
dry. Early or late, the canyon is always beautiful. An easy
walk.
